53% of new podcasters are planning solo shows


Hey everyone,

As much as 53% of yet-to-launch podcasters who took the Independent Podcaster Survey said they’re planning to launch a solo show.

This is a big jump from the data we gathered from current podcasters, of which only 31% run solo shows.

Interviews come in a distant second at 28%, and co-hosting is dropping fast.

So why are so many new podcasters choosing to fly solo?
